One of my aspirations daily is to pray for the protection and safety of my children, especially from the trials they will face, and that will show them the way to their full potential. I have made sure that praying becomes an ever-present friend throughout parenthood, as it offers me comfort, guidance, and hope. Dear God, I thank you for all the blessings that you have restored unto me and my family. I am grateful for allowing me to be in your presence and surrender my children before you.

Please, Lord Jesus, I ask that you grant my children wisdom to make the right choices each day. May you grant them understanding and discernment in all they do. I pray that faith, victory, and success will be a part of their lives in everything they do. Father, guide my children with unwavering certainty towards your divine purpose for their lives. Help them to understand that when they trust in you with all their heart, you will make their path straight. I declare in the name of Jesus that my children will experience the riches of life’s blessings and find grace in your presence each day. I pray that their hearts will be full of laughter, love, joy, and happiness and full of peace and abundance.

Father, I recognise that walking in your light of salvation makes it easy for my children to prosper in all their endeavours. Father, you said that “tears may endure only for a night, but your joy cometh in the morning.” Psalm 30:5 (NIV) Therefore, my children will “not be grieved, for the joy of the Lord Jesus is their strength.” Nehemiah 8:10 (NIV). Amen

Dear Lord, I thank you that you are a God who is loving and kind, a God who is compassionate and caring, and whose hands are always open to receive your children.

Father, I pray that you will cover and protect my children with your everlasting love. I pray that you will be their shield and butler and that my children will always recognise the “great love that you, Father, have lavished and bestowed on them” “and live daily as children of the King.” 1 John 3:1 (NIV).

Help them to know the depth of your love for them and adapt it to their future relationships with others. I declare that my children will embrace love, which knows no bounds, and that they will be ready to forgive just as you love and forgive them.

Help them spread and mirror your incredible and perfect love to those they may come in contact with on a daily basis. Thank you for your love, which endures forever in Jesus’s name. Amen.

Dear Mighty God, I thank you this day for the blessing of life over my children. I thank you, Lord, for the plans you have for my children, “plans to prosper and not to harm, plans to give them a hope and a future,” as stated in Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV). May my children be blessed with a divine purpose for their individual lives. Help them, Lord, to discover their unique talents, dreams, and passions, leading them towards your calling.

I pray today Lord, that they will accept their calling with honours and boldness and use it to inspire and empower others to make a positive difference in their lives and around the world through Jesus Christ. Dear Father, I thank you that you “heal the brokenhearted and bind up our wounds.” plasm 147:3(NIV). Lord, please bestow upon my children health and well-being that will protect them from sickness and infirmities. Pray that you will touch every organ that makes up their bodies to be healthy. Fill them with energy and resilience so that they may embrace a lifestyle that will allow them to serve you the way they should.

Have mercy upon my children and heal their land so they can enjoy abundant peace. In Jesus’s name. Amen.

Father, God, I bow before you this morning on behalf of my children; I believe that you are able to “bless them abundantly so that in all things and at all times they will abound in every good work.”

Confirm in 2 Corinthians 9:8 (NIV). And that you are a God who will never go back on your promises. Please cover my children with your abundant blessings.

And help them understand that when they put you first in everything that they do, “You, Father God, will open the windows of heaven and pour out blessings upon them.” Malachi 3:10(NIV).

Help them to recognise that these blessings are exceedingly abundantly above all they could ask are imagine. May they walk on the path of righteousness all the days of their lives. Please be their leader, their advisor, and their motivator. I pray that my children will stand firmly on your words. In Jesus’s name. Amen.

When we pray for our children, we have faith and trust in our hearts that the almighty God will take care of them. He knows that his plan for them is to prosper them and not harm them. His plans and proposals are good and will always prevail.

We should continue to lift up our children in prayer daily and see the fulfilment of God’s purpose and promises in their lives as they grow in grace as the men and women he wanted them to be.

God is a God of promise, and he kept each one of them; he will never go back on his words. Therefore, his promises will go out and accomplish exactly what they are to do. They will never return void.

Therefore, let us surrender our children daily to Christ; he knows the present and future of their lives.
